The 35,000 sf Technology Advancement Production Facility at the University of Maryland College Park is a business incubator that supports and nurtures Maryland entrepreneurs with essential resources and access to faculty, students and other University labs and manufacturing centers.
Wet and dry laboratories and support spaces comprise two thirds of the total building area, with pilot manufacturing, administration, and building support the remaining third. Modular lab planning achieves flexibility in the design, reduces the variety of components, and establishes a set of standards. The labs are organized to adapt readily to the changing needs of its tenants.
