Description

The 350,000 sf Ramsey Center is the largest building ever constructed by the State of Georgia University System. Supporting numerous student recreation functions, the facility also accommodates intercollegiate athletics and the School of Health, Physical Education, Recreation and Dance (HPERD). Recreational components include a skylit aquatics center with competition pool, a diving well, lap pool, gymnasium with elevated track, gymnastics and weight/exercise rooms, multipurpose areas, racquetball and squash courts, a climbing wall. A 2,500-seat arena expands to accommodate up to 3,000 spectators.
