Occupying one of the campus’s key sites, the 205,000 sf Curb Event Center/Beaman Student Life Center creates an integrated student-life zone on the north campus to balance the historic academic core to the south. The building functions as the focus of student life on campus. The 5,000-seat, multifunctional Curb Events Center is linked to a student recreation center with fitness center, auxiliary gymnasium, activity rooms, racquetball/squash courts, and climbing wall. The recreation center is in turn linked to the student-life center, with student activity offices, meeting rooms, lounges, a convenience store, as well as the Department of Student Affairs and retail space.
