Loyola Marymount University

Located at the entrance to the campus, the Burns Recreation Center replaces a 50-year-old gymnasium and natatorium with a full-service recreation center and outdoor, Olympic-size competition pool. The Center accommodates intercollegiate aquatic programs and student health services, while augmenting an existing events center to greatly enhance recreational and wellness opportunities on campus. The facility features a recreational gymnasium, an auxiliary gym suitable for social functions, multipurpose rooms, weight/fitness center, concessions, and other support spaces. A covered galleria connects the recreation center to an existing events center, creating a major campus gathering place.
