Description
Described as “part gym, part nightclub”, this 46,000 sf facility occupies three floors of a new mixed-use development for Chicago residents. Dynamic architectural elements draw prospective members and patrons through the building atrium to the entry which features a backlit juice bar with a grand angular stair and a fiber-optic edge-lit glass wall that illuminates the silhouettes of club patrons. Sculptural forms, materials and colors unify the programmatic elements of this facility which includes retail sales, multipurpose studios, swimming pool, rehab clinic, children’s room, boxing ring, workout and locker areas. A fifth floor sundeck offers outstanding views of the Chicago skyline.
