Description
The only facility of its kind connected directly to a major luxury cruise ship terminal, the Broward County Convention Center is part of a $300 million mixed-use retail complex designed to offer amenities to attract meeting planners and vacationers. Overlooking a fountain plaza and the Intracoastal Waterway, the three-level structure features a hotel, shopping mall, office tower, cruise ship terminal, and parking. The convention headquarters hotel contains 650 rooms and suites as well as restaurants, a ballroom, and a pool. A 2,500-car convention center garage links to the convention center by temperature-controlled walkways; another 3,500-car facility supports hotel and retail activities.
