City of Red Deer

The 250,000 sf Collicutt Centre offers a unique recreation and wellness experience for residents of the city of Red Deer, Alberta. In addition to a four-lane running track, a “lifestyle pool” water park, a fitness centre, aerobics studios, climbing walls, a soccer pavilion, a gymnastics studio, a year-round arena with NHL-size ice sheet, and a field house with multiuse courts, long jump pit, and swing cages, Collicutt Centre also features a performance center offering physiotherapy, chiropractic, and massage services. Custom-glazed tiles designed by local children, a tapestry illustrating the city’s history, and sculptures lining an indoor street reflect community interests.
