Agganis Arena

Boston, MA

Description

Agganis Arena brings fans close to the action with 6,300 steeply raked seats that are all within 60 feet of the playing surface. Capacity is expandable to over 7,200, enabling the arena to host concerts and family entertainment as well as hockey and basketball games. Recruitment is supported by a full spectrum of amenities for players: a 6,500 sf weight room, a 27-seat theater-style video room with surround sound, a players’ lounge with comfortable seating and widescreen television, and a hot-and-cold Jacuzzi. Even the width of the locker room is optimized to enable players to stretch out while chatting with teammates across the room. The arena is the linchpin of the university’s John Hancock Student Village, a 10-acre center of student life featuring elegant high-rise student residences and state-of-the-art fitness, athletic, recreational, and entertainment facilities.
