Description
Abbott Laboratories commissioned Cannon Design to explore the feasibility of constructing a new building to house 1,200 employees. The resulting conceptual study proposed a 317,000 sf building designed to achieve a range of client goals, including promoting employee interaction and collaboration, supporting work processes and improving productivity, reducing churn and life-cycle costs, improving employee satisfaction, incorporating state-of-the-art technology and sustainable design principles, and improving flexibility to accommodate future change.
