Description
Advocate Good Samaritan Hospital’s objective in developing a two-story addition to its existing three-story, 38,000 sf medical office building, was to both reduce on-campus outpatient visits by redirecting patients to a location more central to its surrounding residential neighborhood and creating a new fresh “front door” for the medical office building. The facility provides ancillary services such as urgent care, imaging, physical therapy, cardiology and a lab. Interior design goals included the development of a calming, spa-like experience promoting harmony and environmental sensitivity, achieved by creating an intimate inviting scale, with finishes inspired by nature.
