Description
The 245,000 sf Inpatient Tower & Women’s Center, will enhance current services and accommodate new hospital functions. A women’s floor complete with a seven-bed LDR, two C-section and 16 postpartum rooms, and a level 1 and 2 nursery, provide a complete range of obstetrics services. Additional floors house 90 additional medical/surgical private rooms, served by a centralized nurse station with remote decentralized nursing/patient pods. A 24-bed critical care unit links to the existing 24-bed units. A new front concourse within the existing hospital acts as an internal connector reorganizing pedestrian circulation and an exterior entryway, elevator cores, and canopy signal a new arrival sequence uniting existing and new construction
