General Services Administration

Under the auspices of the General Services Administration Design Excellence Program, located on the city’s Civic Center Mall the $95 million Toledo US Courthouse, faces the existing County Courthouse.

To ensure creation of a landmark building for the city, the design effort looked beyond the courthouse to the civic mall, in a collaborative effort with city and county officials, judges, court administrators, and downtown business leaders to improve these urban crossroads to meet community and governmental aspirations.
