The challenge to foster inclusion in campus community
How do we design dynamic, holistic places which nurture healthy, engaged communities? As we strive to design places of learning with compelling identities that unite individuals into a community, we look for ways to holistically appeal to inhabitants. With the Adler School of Professional Psychology, we discuss the methods and processes that led to the successful collaboration of the client and design team in manifesting their mission. We analyze how a commitment to community can define and reinforce pedagogy.
