Design Matters
Recreation centers are the heart of the modern day college and university campus. Institutions can no longer compete for the attention of today's most talented students with the addition of just a few, key recreational spaces. Using examples of case studies from around the country, presenters focus upon the issues facing today’s recreation professionals and other key decision-makers in the design of facilities that must reflect a healthy environment, provide physical spaces to accommodate a broad range of student needs and employ environmentally healthy and sustainable practices to remain competitive in today's marketplace.
