All for One: Can Rising Costs Make Better Partners between Campus, Architect, and Builder?

Unprecedented increases in construction costs have driven universities to explore alternative methods of project delivery that preserve value and scope. University of Southern California moved from traditional project delivery to a partnership of campus, architect and builder. Sharing the experiences of two USC projects built five years apart and another currently underway at the University of Wisconsin - Whitewater, presenters discuss the benefit of integrated architecture/engineering, and the techniques and lessons learned by collaboratively engaging in cost modeling and value engineering from design through building construction.
