The University of California, San Diego's 180,000 square foot Price Center opened in 1989. The campus quickly outgrew it and in 2003 plans were underway to construct the Price Center East expansion which opened in 2008. This session focuses on the planning process, research initiatives, and forms of student engagements that went into developing one of the largest student centers in the United States.
