Designing a regenerative learning ecology with students at the center
The Third Teacher Plus team facilitates a workshop that uses the design thinking process (creative problem solving resulting in a tangible solution) to empower participants to consider how learning can regenerate our society and ecology. Ultimately, this activity is a powerful teaching tool that has proven to drive learning. The session consists of a facilitated discussion and brainstorm session around what regenerative living looks like in the 21st century. Then, participants break up into groups to tackle the design challenge to develop a novel and intriguing learning experience that inspires regenerative living in our children.
