How design make the world better

Aaron Jon Hyland, CannonDesign’s San Francisco Office Practice Leader, is set to attend Bloomberg Businessweek Design 2016 in San Francisco Monday, April 11. The one-day conference brings the world’s top designers and business leaders together to discover how design make the world better, smarter, cooler and more innovative. The event specifically highlights the intersection of design, technology and business, and draws attendees from every industry that relies on design to help clients and consumers reimagine how we experience the world – app development, e-commerce, graphic design, data visualization, genomics, art, architecture, fashion, cuisine, urban planning and more.

With more than 25 years of experience in design thinking, preservation and placemaking, Aaron is a key voice in the San Francisco design community. He currently serves as the President for the AIA San Francisco, Treasurer for the Architectural Foundation of San Francisco and Vice-President of the San Francisco Historic Preservation Commission. Aaron also has strong roots in the firm’s education practice and is an active member of the Society for College and University Planning (SCUP) and focuses on bringing the 21st century learning solutions to our education clients in Northern California.
