Rob McintyreRon McIntyre, Health Market Leader in CannonDesign’s Vancouver office is set to moderate the panel discussion “Metro Vancouver’s Future in Urban Health Facility Development – Opportunities & Challenges” hosted by the Urban Land Institute of British Columbia on April 26.

McIntyre will be joined by leaders in health facility design from around the region who have been involved with three major hospital redevelopments: St. Paul’s Hospital, Royal Columbian Hospital, and BC Children’s and BC Women’s Hospital. The panel will discuss goals for patient services in the urban context; the challenges redevelopment brings for health care providers, communities, industry and business; and opportunities associated with some of the changes taking place in Metro Vancouver.

With more than 25 years of experience, McIntyre has led engagements of all scopes and sizes both internationally and in British Columbia, Alberta, Saskatchewan, Quebec, and Ontario. His in-depth experience with both Alternate Project Delivery (P3) and the strategic rethinking of healthcare delivery at national and regional health authority levels position him well to moderate an engaging discussion.
