Innovative Construction & Care Delivery: AHN, Wexford Health + Wellness Pavilion Profiled by Medical Construction & Design

CannonDesign’s Health and Design-Led Construction (DLC) teams are headed to the PDC Summit Conference – one of the largest annual conferences for senior leaders working in all disciplines of health care planning, design and construction to learn, network and discover ways to create value for the health care built environment – and will be presenting and speaking.

Highlighting Design-Led Construction and Unique Service Offerings

CannonDesign representatives will be participating in the PDC Summit Exhibit Hall on Monday and Tuesday at Booth #1302. The team will be set to talk about DLC (a powerful new single-source delivery offering) and its ability to significantly accelerate speed-to-market, reduce costs and minimize risk for health care organizations considering new design and construction efforts. Allegheny Health Network recently leveraged DLC to deliver its Wexford Health + Wellness Pavilion on an accelerated timeline of 22 months with $0 error and omission change orders and adherence to an early established GMP of $57.4 million. On average, DLC is able to greatly reduce change orders resulting from errors and omissions, resulting in an average of:

  • 30% accelerated speed-to-market over other delivery models
  • 40% savings on cost related to total change orders
  • 45% savings related to change order request processing time

Our team will also be ready to talk about other unique services spanning Health Advisory Services, Facility Optimizations Solutions, engineering and architecture.
