Syracuse University’s Ensley Athletic Center has been named to Bleacher Report’s list of the “15 Best Indoor Facilities in College Football.” The media outlet notes that, “Syracuse is building toward a brighter future in football with new coach Dino Babers, and the former Bowling Green head man is inheriting an ideal facilities situation with the Orange.”

The 87,000 square foot Ensley Athletic Center features a full 120-yard field with a FieldTurf surface lined for football, men’s lacrosse and women’s lacrosse. Its 65-foot roof peak allows for passing and kicking activities and features a one-of-a-kind alternating dormer system that allows interior natural light levels to match the carrier dome — something coaching staff were very specific about, saying it was important that the “team practiced like they played.” The 7,600 square-foot entry pavilion features a main lobby area, restrooms, as well as team and officials’ rooms that will be used by the adjacent Syracuse Soccer Stadium on game days.
