eVap Secures Honorable Mention from Green Dot Awards

Cannon Design’s eVap 1000 earned an Honorable Mention in the Green Dot Awards Product Category. The eVap 1000 is an environmentally sound, inexpensive, simple, safe, and flexible device that has proven both to be extremely popular among research laboratories nationwide and to conserve millions of gallons of water per year. It prevents costly flooding of laboratories, damage to critical equipment and experiments and consumes as little as one tenth of the total system electricity required by similarly-packaged chiller units.

The Green Dot Awards strive to reward and promote forward-thinking businesses that create environmentally friendly products or services, and to reward revolutionary green business plans and proposals. The awards program received more than 500 entries from 25 countries in 2011.

The eVap 1000 was developed by the Cannon Design Products Group which seeks to create new technologies that function better, require fewer resources, use energy more efficiently, reduce liability and help clients streamline work process. The team has also developed a larger model (eVap 1500) that is an extension of the eVap 1000 and its design.
