Michael Eardley Named to Consulting-Specifying Engineer (CSE) 40-Under-40 List

Michael Eardley, PE, LEED, CCP, CBCP, has been named to the 2012 Consulting-Specifying Engineer (CSE) 40-Under-40 list.
Eardley leads Cannon Design’s Commissioning Group and has proven himself a leader in finding ways for the firm to best ensure they meet client goals for building performance. Mike has also built an innovative system that enables the commissioning team to act as independent reviewers for Cannon Design AE project work. The synergy of these efforts creates benefits for clients and the firm.
“Mike has proven himself very deserving of this honor,” said Cannon Design Associate Vice President Michael Tillou, who nominated Eardley. “Mike has worked incredibly hard to build and guide Cannon Design’s Commissioning Team. He holds buildings and those who design them to the highest of standards and it makes a valuable difference.”
The CSE 40-Under-40 list recognizes engineers who stand out in all aspects of their lives with special focus on commitment to excellence in academic, professional, and community activities as well as their personal life..
Eardley earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of California, Berkeley and went on to receive a Masters in Civil Engineering from the University of Colorado, Boulder. He has continued to build upon his education as both a Certified Commissioning Professional (CCP) and Certified Building Commissioning Principal (CBCP) who has earned LEED Accreditation.
Even outside of his work at Cannon Design, Eardley is dedicated to the evolution of the profession as he serves on a number of engineering associations and committees focused on developing future goals and standards.
