Sandro A. Bressi Joins Cannon Design as Associate Principal

Cannon Design is pleased to announce Sandro A. Bressi has joined the firm as an Associate Principal.
Bressi will lead Cannon Design’s Engineering Group in New York City and help further develop the Science and Technology practice internationally, immediately joining project teams working with Johnson & Johnson and South Nassau Communities Hospital. He will focus on expanding the firm’s prime engineering practice both regionally and globally. In addition to client leadership and project delivery, Bressi will help Cannon Design develop innovative engineering solutions for research and laboratory environments in academic, government and corporate settings.
With 30 years of proven experience in designing solutions for highly complex research projects, Bressi is a recognized leader in the profession with extensive experience in guiding multi-disciplinary engineering teams through entire project life-cycles as well as specialized expertise in animal vivarium facilities and bio-containment systems design.
Bressi is affiliated with professional organizations including the International Society for Pharmaceutical Engineering (ISPE), American Biological Safety Association (ABSA) and the American Association for Laboratory Animal Science (AALAS). He frequently speaks at international conferences including the Tradelines Research Facilities series, ISPE annual and regional meetings, SCUP conferences, ABSA meetings and the Turnkey Conference.
Prior to joining Cannon Design, Bressi worked with Flad Architects, CUH2A and Flack & Kurtz. He is a graduate of from the City University of New York, College of Technology with a focus on Mechanical Engineering Technology.
