An Integrated One-Stop Center Transforms the Enrollment Process

Harper College is a 40,000 student community college in the northwest suburban region of Chicago. It serves a highly diverse student body, and the district’s changing demographics have led the college to shape a student-focused strategic direction. A key component of this strategy is the creation of a “one-stop” center that consolidates the college’s admissions, registrar, financial aid, business office and career advancement services previously scattered throughout the campus.

The new center will provide Harper students with a holistic, coordinated and efficient support experience that will assist greatly in completing their degree programs and securing employment in their chosen field.

The One-Stop Center will be staffed with cross-trained specialists on the front line, streamlining the process and improving communications with personalized attention. The renovation and expansion embraces the values of the college’s strategic mission of inspiration, partnership, accountability and completion.
