A comprehensive profile of Cannon Design appears in the August issue of Award, a premier Canadian publication dedicated to sustainable architecture, construction and interior design.
In “Cannon Design: Creators of Community Space,” Cannon Design’s history, growth, global reach, advancements in healthcare, and firm methodology are expansively documented. With a focus on many of the firm’s Canadian projects, the award-winning Richmond Olympic Oval, Camosun College’s Pacific Institute for Sports Excellence and the Royal Jubilee Patient Care Center—both in Victoria, BC; the Center for Addiction and Mental Health in Toronto, and replacement hospitals planned for both the Niagara Health System in St. Catharines, ONT and the Northern Health Authority in Fort St. John, BC, are highlighted. In addition, international achievements such as the Tursa Convention Center and Hotel in Adana Turkey, the Tata Medical Center Cancer Hospital in Kolkata, India and the King Faisal Specialist Hospital and Research Center in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia are discussed.
