These include LearningSCAPES 2018, EDspaces, the Joint Annual Conference of IASB/IASA/Illinois ASBO and the Chicago Greenbuild Tour: Innovation in K-12 Education. Mike Corb of CannonDesign and Anne Fullenkamp, Director of Design at the Children’s Museum of Pittsburgh, will co-present a lecture focused on why design teams should look to children’s museums when trying to reimagine the PK-12 learning environment. Speakers will offer insights based on previous projects, work and industry expertise. Audience members will walk away with tips to creating a design process that engages key stakeholders, places student experiences first, and creates flexible and adaptive 21st-century learning environments. As part of the conference, CannonDesign project Chiaravalle Montessori will also be featured during the education facility tours.
Stuart Brodsky will be attending the EDspaces annual conference, where the Waukee Innovation & Learning Center (WILC) will be featured as the Grand Prize winner of the School Planning & Management Education Design Showcase. WILC also recently won a LESolutions Award from A4LE.
