Washington DC Office Participates in CANstruction 2019

CANstruction is a nationwide program that aims to raise awareness about hunger. In DC, CANnstruction is organized by the Washington Architectural Foundation as a creative design-build competition that benefits the Capital Area Food Bank (CAFB) through donations of canned goods. Our DC office participated in CANstruction 2019 with the theme of the 1980s in honor of the CAFB celebrating 40 years of service to the DC area.

We used our skills to build a “Can-DeLorean” that was created first in Revit and included hand-cut structural items to hold over 2,300 canned goods to be donated to those in need:
