New York Times Highlights Square's New St. Louis Workplace

A recently published article in The New York Times highlights Square’s new St. Louis workplace, set to open in the historic St. Louis Post-Dispatch building later this year.

The New York Times piece looks at the growing trend of former newspaper buildings being redeveloped for mixed-use commercial purposes ranging from workplaces, to downtown apartments and condos, and even breweries. The article focuses especially on the Square workplace.

Our team is helping Square renovate the St. Louis Post-Dispatch building as a cutting-edge workplace equipped to help the company expand its local workforce, recruit and retain top talent, and fuel growth strategies. CannonDesign is providing multi-dimensional design services including architecture, interior design, engineering and lighting design. Trivers leads the design and restoration of the building’s core and shell.

“The Post-Dispatch Building is a remarkable civic asset, and we hope this project brings even more new energy to St. Louis’ downtown core, and bolsters the city’s surging technology economy,” said Ken Crabiel, CannonDesign’s St. Louis Commercial Market Leader. “We’re proud to help Square create a dynamic workplace that will empower their people, culture and business long into the future.”
