The event was organized by the Arquitectos Inc. organization, which was established in 1985 to become a valuable resource for Latinx architects—offering opportunities for career and professional development. Our Anjelica Hope Perez, an active member of Arquitectos Inc., was the co-chair for social media and graphic design for this year’s Arquitecto Colectivos event and was instrumental in organizing our involvement in the symposium.
Pulling in teammates from across our firm, our firm shared expertise in several ways:
- Jenny Delgado provided an overview of our firm and our Living-Centered Design approach, as well as profiled the Kaiser Permanente School of Medicine project.
- Tomas Cantu-Martinez provided an in-depth look at our design process with Johns Hopkins University Applied Physics Laboratory (APL) Building 201.
- Timothy Walser discussed our firm’s community engagement at different scales, highlighting several projects including the Planned Agriculture District (PAD).
