Abbie Clary, director of CannonDesign’s health practice, and Brandy Olson, client leader at Blue Cottage of CannonDesign, will present at this year’s Society for Healthcare Strategy & Market Development (SHSMD) Connections conference on Wed., Sept. 11 from 8:30 to 9:30 a.m. at the Music City Center in Nashville, Tenn.

Their session – “How to Lead and Influence: Making Gender Character Traits Work for You” – will discuss research around the rise of feminine character traits in today’s successful leaders and discuss how to balance both feminine and masculine traits as a leader in our changing world. Victoria Navarro, regional director of planning, design and construction at Advocate Aurora Health, will present alongside Abbie and Brandy.

The SHSMD Connections conference brings together healthcare leaders in various fields, from marketing to planning to business development to share thought leadership, current change drivers and other of-the-moment strategies.
