PJ Glasco, a principal and leader in our Houston healthcare practice, was part of a AIA Houston Women in Architecture panel discussion on workplace inequity in the design industry.
This was the third annual Equity Series. This year’s theme was “Hidden Costs: An investigation into the price we pay for workplace inequity.” The speakers discussed how intersecting identities experience compounded effects of inequality, the losses that happen when inequality isn’t addressed in a design organization, impactful strategies for improving workplace equality as well as championing diversity.
The panel was moderated by Nicola Springer, AIA, LEED AP, Vice President at Kirksey Architecture. Speakers included:
