Bob Donahue, our Buffalo office leader, shares in the piece that “CannonDesign has nearly 150+ open positions nationwide, several of which are in Western New York. That’s thanks to the firm posting a record year in 2020 for the number of projects awarded.”
The piece also references the fact that our team moved into a new office in downtown Buffalo during the pandemic. Designed by our own team, the 35,000-sf workspace empowers our creative teams to design breakthrough solutions for our clients. The state-of-the-art space is a showcase destination for our people and a hub for collaboration and ingenuity.
Truly in the heart of Buffalo’s downtown, the new workplace sits at the nexus of two important streets in the city: Main and Chippewa, just footsteps from the city’s transit line and business and theater districts. This location better connects CannonDesign to the city and allows our staff to drive, ride or bike to work.
“This was an incredibly fun and exciting process. Our workplace strategy and design teams essentially treated us as our own client,” explains Bob Donahue, CannonDesign’s Buffalo Office Leader. “We engaged our staff, deployed future-focused workplace strategies and pushed for innovation just as we would with our clients. The result is a dynamic and flexible space that will fuel our future in downtown Buffalo. The move better connects us to the city’s present, future and DNA.”
Beyond our own office, we’re also thrilled to be connected to numerous key projects across the city including 201 Ellicott, the D’Youville Health Professions Hub, University at Buffalo’s One World Cafe and more.
