CannonDesign provided master planning, architecture, engineering and laboratory planning services for the project. The ultimate design goal was to maximize the integration between teaching and research and foster collaboration between multidisciplinary programs. “Collaborative neighborhoods” were designed to maintain a higher level of flexibility and adaptability, supporting the development of emerging academic needs or other programmatic evolutions during the life of the building.

Towson University Celebrates Opening of New Science Center
Towson University recently hosted a ribbon-cutting ceremony of its Science Complex, the newest and largest building on campus. The 320,000 sf complex will support the rapidly growing Fisher College of Science & Mathematics and advance the future of STEM teaching and research.
