We are excited to share Allison Mendez has been named to the St. Louis Business Journal’s 2017 30 Under 30 list. This is fantastic recognition for Allison, who has been a leader for our firm ever since she joined CannonDesign. She is constantly pushing our St. Louis office, our firm at large and our clients to be better. There are numerous reasons Allison belongs on this list, including the below key points:
- Allison’s leadership with key organizations including the University of Kansas, Truman Medical Center, and Roche Diagnostics.
- Her award-winning work. Allison has already received three honor awards and one merit distinction from the AIA St. Louis Chapter and also submitted a finalist for the Atlanta Bridgescape Competition.
- Allison’s work on our NEXT Council, shaping strategies that can help us improve financial performance, recruit top talent and best engage clients.
- Her commitment to the profession and our Open Hand Studio, through which she’s organized Meet & Match events and helped renovated St. Patrick Center’s McMurphy Cafe here in St. Louis – the first restaurant for training those battling homelessness and mental illness to develop skills that help them find employment.
The Business Journal announced all recipients of this year’s 30 under 30 class last week and Allison will be formally recognized at a cocktail reception Thursday, July 13.
