We are pleased to announce we’ve been selected to partner with Rockford Public Schools (RPS) to design two new elementary schools as part of their 10-year facilities master plan. The project will replace five outdated elementary schools within the district’s footprint with two new 84,000 sf four-strand buildings that place emphasis on 21st century learning environments and fulfill the district’s mission to “collaboratively engage all students in a world-class education.” Our integrated team of architects, engineers, and interior designers will collaborate with the district on planning and design processes that yield best-in-class learning environments that are cost-effective, durable and sustainable.
“The district has a tremendous vision for its future and it is strongly rooted in the student experience and preparing the next generation for post-K12 success,” notes Stuart Brodsky, CannonDesign senior vice president and principal-in-charge for the RPS project. “We are honored to continue our partnership with RPS to create dynamic learning environments that contribute to enduring student success.”
