CannonDesign is proud to share that CJ Blossom Park, a new world-class research and development headquarters for CJ Corporation, has received a 2016 International Interior Design Association (IIDA) Best of Asia Pacific Design Award. CJ Blossom Park is one of just 13 interior design projects selected by the IIDA that reflect the highest level of creativity and design excellence in the Asia Pacific Region. The awards will be officially announced on Dec. 8 at an awards presentation honoring all winners at the Four Seasons Hotel in Honk Kong. Until then, a full gallery can be viewed on the IIDA website.
Conceived as “The Only One,” CJ Blossom Park is a unique 1.2 million sf building that consolidates CJ Corporation’s previously disparate pharmaceutical, biotechnology and food products businesses into a single-location, enabling the company to create industry-defining projects, accelerate speed-to-market and increase its global competitiveness. The design locates the full spectrum of research and development facilities in three high-rise towers around a dynamic central atrium. Surrounding the atrium at the first and mezzanine levels are 100,000 sf of amenities, including product showrooms, a cafe and restaurant, library and work out facilities. The three-dimensional connectivity is further emphasized with a series of double-height interaction spaces linking labs, offices, and amenity spaces within each tower.
