We are proud to share Danielle Forsyth has been named to Business First Buffalo’s 2018 30 Under 30 list. The list seeks to identify leading Western New Yorkers in the early stages of their careers who are achieving at high levels at work and in the community.

Danielle is a Manager in our Communications Team and makes significant contributions to both our firm and the Buffalo community, including:

At CannonDesign

  • Developing and executing marketing and communications for our Science & Technology practice (one of the 10 largest in the world), encompassing public relations, thought leadership development, digital marketing, national conference coordination and award submissions. In 2018, she helped our work with CJ Blossom Park in South Korea earn recognition as the best new laboratory building in the world.
  • The creation of of an award-winning internal newsletter (Winner of a Society for Marketing Professional Services Award)
  • Helping launch CannonDesign’s first firm-wide employee engagement survey (which achieved 89% participation)
  • Launching CD Stream, an internal photo-sharing network for CannonDesign employees.

CannonDesign in the Community

  • Tracking, cataloguing and promoting CannonDesign’s community participation, including the creation of a “community wall” in the office that lists people and organizations with which they are involved.
  • Organizing a 200-person Open Hand Studio Meet & Match event that brought local design professionals and non-profits to match design needs with design talent.
  • Compiling and writing CannonDesign’s first Buffalo office Community and Culture Report that celebrates all the volunteer efforts, local projects, and people making a difference in the community.

Personal Community Contributions

  • Coaching Nardin Academy’s (her alma mater) varsity squash team
  • Serving as a board member and development committee member at her elementary school alma mater Stella Niagara Education Park
  • Previously serving as an executive board member, marketing committee chair and secretary for the Buffalo Architecture Foundation from 2013-2015
