Don Rosen has joined CannonDesign as leader of the Plumbing and Fire Protection engineering discipline. Based in the Boston office, Don will oversee firm-wide plumbing and fire protection standards, quality plans, staff recruitment and development, project assignments and staff training. He’ll also work closely with Paul Kondrat, Boston’s Office Engineering Leader, to build the plumbing and fire protection practice in New England.
Don joins CannonDesign with more than 30 years of plumbing and fire protection engineering design experience. With a specialty in healthcare and S&T projects, Don’s portfolio includes highly regarded national institutions such as Massachusetts General Hospital, Brigham and Women’s Hospital and Newton Wellesley Hospital. His international work includes leading overseas engineering efforts for the new Al Sabah Hospital, and Al Jahra Hospitals in Kuwait. Don has also worked on projects in higher education and sports throughout his career.

Don comes from a family of engineers; his father owned and operated a consulting engineering firm. He graduated with a degree in Mechanical Engineering from Northeastern University.
