University of Houston – Clear Lake is celebrating the opening of its new STEM and Classroom building set to meet the high demand for STEM education in the surrounding area.

The new 120,000 sf STEM building will double the campus’s current science facilities and provide capabilities to better meet the instructional demands and research initiatives of students and faculty in the greater Houston region.

It provides general classrooms, research and teaching labs, a computer lab and active-learning classrooms designed to foster hands-on training experiences. Departmental administrative offices and support spaces are suited together for flexible assignments and to encourage collaboration.
