As a registered nurse with 30+ years of nursing and consulting experience, Stanton brings to the firm a wealth of knowledge and experience related to nursing workflow, lean operations, health system performance optimization, and clinical trials research management. Her new position with the Advisory Services team will focus on helping health systems improve their performance across multiple channels and measures, developing solutions that respond to clients’ unique cultures, processes, leadership styles, and physician practice patterns.

Prior to joining CannonDesign, Stanton was a director on the cost management consulting team at Premier, Inc. where she developed analytical benchmarking models, planned and conducted Kaizen events, analyzed hospital performance across a broad range of indicators, and developed processes and protocols to improve performance across health systems. Stanton has also held consulting roles at Navigant, HDR, Inc., and Gresham, Smith, and Partners.
A member of the American Organization of Nurse Executives, Stanton holds both a Bachelor of Health Science from California State University Long Beach and a Master’s of Business Administration from Duke University.
