The March issue of Healthcare Design features an article on the importance of healthcare lobbies as setting the stage for an improved patient experience. Entitled “First Impression,” the article features the University of Minnesota Health Clinics and Surgery Center along with insights from our director of healthcare interiors, Jocelyn Stroupe.

The article stresses the importance of the lobby as the patient’s first impression of the facility and the quality of care they will receive. With inspiration drawn from the hospitality industry, amenities and convenience services provided in the entry space are important aspect of a positive healthcare experience.
