Recognized by the Architectural League of New York, Mehrdad Yazdani is one of 250 most innovative North American-designers of the past three decades. A reception at New York’s Cooper Hewitt Museum on Friday, July 10, solidifies and documents this accomplishment of three decades of the Emerging Voices program.

The Emerging Voices series annually recognizes eight emerging talents who have potential influence in the architectural industry. Yazdani was selected by a juried-portfolio competition in 2001.

The League celebrates this prestigious honor in their newly released, “30 Years of Emerging Voices: Idea, Form, Resonance” book. This collective, Princeton Architectural Press publication showcases documents of design projects and practices.

“Experimenting and pushing design boundaries inspires me every day,” said Yazdani. “I’m fortunate to have had the opportunity to work with inspiring clients and talented collaborators.”
