Building Design + Construction recently featured Montclair State University’s new School of Communication and Media, set to open this fall. The 85,000 sf facility is designed to evolve with the ever-changing landscape of today’s media and newsrooms. With a 197-seat presentation hall and 40-seat screening room powered by Sony Digital Cinema Projection and Dolby 7.1 Surround Sound; four broadcast-ready HD and 4K studio and control rooms; and a contemporary, broadcast-ready newsroom, the school will empower the next generation of journalists, filmmakers and public relations leaders.

Photos of the facility and more background on its offerings can be found here. The school was also recently featured on Patch.com.
