Paul Kondrat, PE has joined CannonDesign as the engineering practice leader in its Boston office. As a Senior Vice President, Paul will strengthen the team by developing collaborative client partnerships, leading multidisciplinary project teams, and using methodologies to help clients achieve strategic goals and improve performance.
Paul is well known in New England for engineering expertise, ”said Lynne Deninger, CannonDesign’s Boston Office Practice Leader. “He is a dynamic leader and a prodigious addition to our Boston team.
Paul joins CannonDesign with over 20-years’ experience as a mechanical engineer. He most recently served as Director of HVAC Engineering with Boston-based TRO. While with TRO, Paul worked on a variety of projects, but none more complex or rewarding than the new, LEED Gold, 640,000 sf Maine General Hospital in Augusta, Maine. Paul’s other significant engineering projects include mechanical engineer for the Menino Building addition and renovations at Boston Medical Center, Boston; Brigham and Women’s Hospital, Boston miscellaneous renovations including the NICU, ER, and patient care tower; engineer for the new 230,000 sf John T O’Connell Tower at Saint Francis Hospital and Medical Center, Hartford, CT; engineer for the central utility plant replacement at Springfield Technical Community College, Springfield, MA; and, engineer for the energy retrofit infrastructure project at the Massachusetts Statehouse in Boston.
Paul is a regular speaking and guest lecturer at conferences and professional societies, including the Massachusetts Healthcare Facilities Professionals Society, the New England Healthcare Engineers Society, the Maine Indoor Air Quality Council and the Boston Society of Architects.

Paul graduated with a degree in Mechanical Engineering from the Thomas J. Watson School of Engineering and Applied Sciences at Binghamton University in Binghamton, NY. When not working, Paul enjoys Triathlons, Ski coaching at Ski Ward, and spending time with this wife and two boys.
