Erik Terry Presents Current Trends in Animal Research to the NIH

Erik Terry, LEED AP, recently presented at the National Institutes of Health (NIH) about the trends in animal research space planning and design.

The humane use of animals is of paramount importance both for the understanding of basic and clinical sciences and in developing treatment modalities for human and animal diseases. As demand for animal research space increases, trends are changing the way we program, plan, design, construct, and operate facilities. Erik’s presentation highlighted trends influencing the planning and design of animal research facilities.
