The Arch+ED program unites architects, college students, teachers and non-profits to leverage architecture as pedagogy for Buffalo students. To date, Arch+ED has engaged 150 volunteer architects in Buffalo and impacted more than 4,000 students in 142 classrooms across 31 schools. CannonDesign team members have been key leaders for the program over time including Luke Johnson and Cheri Weatherston, past and present chairs of the program, respectively.
Arch+ED is currently holding a public exhibit to showcase student work from the past year at Eleven Twenty Projects (1120 Main Street, Buffalo, NY). Upcoming open sessions include March 13 (3-7 PM); March 14 (10 AM – 4 PM); and March 15 (11 AM – 2 PM).
