Improving access to care closer to home
To address the substantial membership growth south of Denver, Kaiser Permanente’s Lone Tree Multi-Specialty Center serves the quickly growing population in Lone Tree, Colorado. The six-story medical office building provides patients with services for nearly all of their medical needs, while being conveniently located within one state-of-the-art facility. The building represents the largest construction project and the most significant addition to Kaiser Permanente’s brick-and-mortar presence in Colorado in nearly a decade.
Services include medical imaging, infusion services, laboratory, obstetrics-gynecology, oncology, ophthalmology, optometry, pharmacy, hearing services, gastroenterology, allergy, clinical palliative care, orthopedics, and physical/occupational therapy. Lone Tree also includes an ambulatory surgery center and a full-service radiology department.
In addition to the comprehensive medical services offered, the multi-specialty center includes many features and amenities aimed at improving the experience for patients, staff, and visitors. Multiple outdoor patio areas provide stunning views of the Rocky Mountains, a walkway around the perimeter of the campus provides opportunities for exercise, and a full-service café serves healthy food options for members and staff. By employing extensive energy and water-use reduction measures, the building was able to achieve LEED Silver certification.
