A shining beacon encouraging competition at the highest level
Virginia Tech’s Hahn Hurst Practice Center is a state-of-the art training facility for the school’s NCAA Division One basketball program. It includes two regulation practice courts, classrooms and conference space as well as facilities for strength training, physical therapy, lockers, lounges, coaching offices and exhibits designed by our environmental graphics team.
The center is a powerful tool in enticing recruits and attracting top talent.
The $18 million facility trains and inspires the school’s athletes, and symbolically ignites the passions of students, alumni and fans. The building design is visually tied to the adjacent Cassell Coliseum and responds to the rich collegiate gothic context of the Blacksburg campus with its use of “Hokie” stone.
