A passionate healthcare architect with over three decades of experience in medical planning and design, Joan brings a wealth of expertise as a client leader and industry expert. Known for her truly collaborative approach – thoughtfully engaging stakeholders and end users to achieve the best possible outcomes for all – Joan relishes the opportunities that come with all stages of medical planning. In constant search for what is on the horizon in the healthcare industry, Joan designs solutions for her clients that both anticipate and enhance their futures.
Joan is a frequent speaker at leading industry conferences, including Healthcare Design Expo and Conference; the International Summit on Health Facility Planning, Design and Construction; and the Cleveland Clinic Patient Experience, Empathy and Innovation Summit. A respected thought leader, Joan has been published in Healthcare Design Magazine and Health Facilities Management, and served as the 2016 President of the American Institute of Architects Academy of Architecture for Health.
